Michael Brown — Horrific Racist Song At Charity Event … ‘And He’s Dead, Dead Michael Brown’ by TMZ

Apparently the Police Just Can’t Learn Their Lesson:

In the instances where a bit of understanding, decency or compassion would have come in handy, and gone a long way to cool some of the lingering tensions between protestors and the police, it would seem the police can’t keep from putting the foot in their mouth.

Heres what recently happened.

Glendale, CA

The Glendale, CA Elks Lodge is investigating a shocking incident that went down in the club a week ago Monday, when a performer sang a song celebrating the death of Michael Brown … for an audience that included a number of retired and current cops … and TMZ has the video.

How is it still a mystery to these cops why people have an issue with them?

It’s becoming clearer and clearer that police officers look at us as being beneath them when  their job exists solely to protect and serve us.  Their salary comes directly out of our taxes under the heading services;

Although nothing criminal transpired, the song was in poor taste to begin with and would only serve to further stoke the flames and the tension if it ever got out of it’s intended circle (as it did now).

    1. I just wish they would use that sense guilt to look at the way we currently go about the act of “policing”, and hopefully scale back a lot of the overbearing hyper-militarized tactics that seem to be the status quo as opposed to treating every life but their own as being an acceptable form of collateral damage, or acting as if they’re infallible.
